“ We went last night for dinner. The food was amazing-especially the hummus prepared at the table. The service was excellent. Love this place. ”
“ My friend and I stopped in around 5:30PM so we could hit the happy hour prices that end at 6PM if you sit at the bar. We both got the $8 sour cocktail which was good but definitely not strong and then shared the marinated chicken and creamy hummus. The portions are smaller than a dinner portion but the chicken was juicy and delicious and the hummus was good too! I did feel like they could've provided more flatbread for the amount of hummus since we had to ask for another and they charged us $3 for the extra. Overall a cute place but definitely on the pricier side. Food did come out quickly! ”
“ Recently, my mom and I were scheduled for a Carnegie Hall tour, so we decided to meet for breakfast at Acadia. We had the Norwegian eggs benedict and the French toast -- both were absolutely delicious and so generous. Labneh on French toast is my new favorite thing. Now, my mom can be a little tricky at times -- she hasn't been feeling great lately, and it shows. Everyone on the staff here was kind and patient, and they even got her to laugh. She also couldn't stop talking about her cappuccino which had a pretty design on top, which really made her day. (The little things are the big things.) It's rare to find a place that welcomes guests (even the "difficult" ones) so warmly. Thank you! ”
“ Acadia truly exceeded my expectations! This place has a creative Mediterranean menu and every single item we ordered did not disappoint. We began with the Bittersweet Spritz to drink, which may just be one of my new favorite cocktails. To eat, I suggest ordering a bunch of different items to split. The Mezzes are a must and their delicious flatbread compliments the dips well. The Challah Parker roll is also a great addition. We loved the Beets, Falafel, and Hummus (which is plated tableside). My favorite item of the evening was the Leek Ravioli, which truly stood out and was so flavorful. For dessert, the Warm Chocolate Lava Cake was a hit, and we liked the Cheesecake Parfait as well. I can't wait to come back for another meal, this ranks in my top 10! ”
“ Fantastic lunch!!!! It was restaurant week, so there was a $30 2 course lunch. We had the fried artichoke, hummus, tuna nicoise and the salmon skewer. Full size and delicious appetizers and entrees. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. My only critique is the artichoke was a little greasy but I'd definitely return. ”
“ Delicious Mediterranean fusion place. The interior and ambiance is romantic, perfect for a dinner date or charming place to catch up with friends. We ordered: 1. Four cheese sambusak 2. Marinated black cod 3. Crispy roasted lamb with freekeh I wasn't as impressed with the sambusak. While it's delicious, it just tasted like fancier mozzarella sticks. The marinated black cod is delicious, cooked to perfection. However, the dish overall felt mismatched - the marinated citrus was a bit off putting and the radish has a strange texture. Our favorite dish was the crispy roasted lamb. I've never had Freekeh as a grain before and now I'm obsessed. The portion size is generous, you can easily share the dish with two people and add an appetizer. The service is great - attentive and friendly staff. I would have given this place 4 stars for the food, but because of the wonderful ambiance and staff - five stars seemed more fitting! ”
“ Genuinely impressed w everything we got. The kubaneh w za'atar and feta was quite solid, slightly dry. The lamb neck was soooo good omg very tender and fatty marrow. Branzino was great too be relative to other two dishes not as good. Really enjoyed the three dips as well, especially the labneh and chicken liver mousse. Beautiful interior, and there's usually always available seating. Hidden gem in plain sight. Friendly service too. ”
“ Delicious!!! This is a newish restaurant. Middle eastern with a twist. I ordered the $35 dirty martini and pick 3 Mezze. You get this large baguette with herbs. I picked spicy feta, olives, and chick peas. All of them equally yummy! My husband ordered the salad with cucumber and tomatoes- so flavorful. My martini was on point. The bartender was super nice. Beautiful and bright inside. ”
“ Went to Acadia for dinner with a group during the middle of the week, and it was not very packed. When walking in, the space is feel very cozy with an open kitchen, which I love! We got one of the large booths in the back corner that has very comfortable sofa-like seating, easily fitting 6-7 people. First, the menu is not very extensive, which is a good or bad thing. I did also note several dishes which I saw on Yelp that were no longer on the menu, I was bummed about that (specifically this bread Kubaneh or the grilled octopus, which were surprising. However for a homemade bread, they did have this loaf with rosemary and herbs which we ordered and came with our mezze (3 selection) and the creamy hummus app. We also ordered veggies (beets, carrots, and cauliflower) for apps, as well as the fried artichoke (which I was glad it was not completely covered and drenched in coating) and the caesar salad. My favs were the beets and the carrots (which had such a tangy dressing!). For the mains, we ordered the mushroom skewers, hanger steak skewers (which also came with rice, lettuce and thing extremely sour pickled carrots and cauliflower). In addition to grilled branzino, sasso chicken and the black cod dishes. The taste and freshest was definitely there. While I enjoyed the setting and the food, it did not give me the wow factor. First, the sasso chicken was very dry. Some of the dishes were heavily salted than others, such as the cauliflower and the branzino. In addition, one thing I dislike in restaurants is having multiple bus boys wanting to clear plates (despite we still have a bite or two left), I had to swish them off at least 3x. Which is not something I enjoy doing. Overall, it was passable. But nothing to rave about. ”
